I have over 15 years experience resolving the most challenging dog behavioral cases that exist. My clients’ stories are more than testimonials; they are heart-felt details of how Bark Busters training has given them life-saving, life-changing, positive impacts on their dogs and families.
My life passion is working with both dogs (and their owners) to find a solution for behavioral issues that may have been thought to be unfixable. I do this without the use of any form of physical corrections or punishment whatsoever, nor the use of treats (other than to create trust). Bark Busters uses a form of communication that mimics the way dogs communicate with each other; more specifically the language the mother dog communicates with her pups. This is a very primal, science-based methodology that dogs instinctively understand right away because it is THEIR language. And that is why it is so effective. I teach owners how to effectively communicate this new language to their dogs. And I aim to deliver the best possible experience for every single client that invests in my services so that they can live a happy, stress-free life together with their dogs.
If you have any questions or reservations about the training whatsoever, please don’t hesitate to contact us about them. My team and I are completely committed to being open and transparent with anyone who is considering working with us, and we will answer any questions with the utmost honesty. We will never take on a case that we are not certain we can help resolve. Every dog is different and every situation is unique. We will work with you to customize a training program that is best for you and your dog. We work as a team with all of our clients and will coach and guide you on how to attain your goals.
Yes! We absolutely believe and know that dogs can learn to respond to their humans without treats or bribes. Dogs innately follow the leader. The phrase “pack leader” is commonly used to describe hierarchy or rank. Our philosophy is to train humans AND their dogs to understand authority the same way the mother communicates to her pups and just to be clear, this is not based on dominance whatsoever, this is based on mother nature. There is a time and place for treats (ie. for trust building, guidance) but not as a primary source of communication.
The Bark Busters method is a positive-reinforced based methodology but the positive reinforcement is given by the owner and myself in the form of love, affection and excitement. As behavioral therapists, we are hired to resolve, eliminate and change unwanted behaviors through a primal, canine form of communication that is not foreign to your dog, but definitely new for human dog owners!!
Almost every single client I work with will see a dramatic if not complete change in their dogs after the first lesson! We spend 2-3 hours during that first meeting to first get a thorough understanding of your goals, to then teach, through videos and coaching, a complete understanding of the philosophy and how to learn this new form of communication, and then work with their dogs on the road to rehabilitation! I will leave you with a “formula/recipe” to follow daily after our initial lesson. It takes follow- through and consistency to maintain the results we get on the first visit. I then schedule our follow up session during our first lesson for roughly 2 weeks out. Any follow-up lessons thereafter take no longer than a week to schedule and they are on an as needed basis. I leave everyone with my direct phone number and an open line of communication should anyone have questions or need further support. And this is for the life of their dogs!
As a trainer for 15 years, I am invested in the success and happiness of all my clients. The Bark Busters lifetime guarantee promises continual training for the life of your dog. Some special cases require multiple sessions, which I will provide for any client who needs it, for the life of your dog! I am quick to schedule a follow up lesson to ensure you and your dog are happy with the training and you are maximizing on your results.
